I must say that I am a little too excited about this. I have only ever been to Tim Horton's three times in my life. The first time was with D and H (during the Maine Lobster Festival -- stuffing myself with three lobsters, fried seafood and fried dough is not enough food for me, I had to have a doughnut and coffee after gorging myself at the festival). The second and third times were on the drive between Boston and NYC, which actually involved a slight detour to get to the Tim Horton's. I can hardly wait for them to be within walking distance of my office. Actually, maybe this isn't such a good thing (for my waistline).

Are you alleging that Tim Horton's is better than DD? I notice on their website you can submit a story about Tim Horton's and a road trip-- I think you should do this!
I'm not kidding about entering the contest. Here's an example.
"Well, my husband and I decided to take the kids for a drive one Saturday. We started off with Tim Hortons, and headed towards Midland. My husband wanted to show me Casino Rama. So, many hours (like 4, we got lost) in the rain, we finally drove up to it. I said "wow, its pretty big". And then we turned around and headed back home. It was quite the road trip.

I think that Tim Horton's has better doughnuts, but DD has better coffee. Hmm... i'll have to think about entering the contest.
Don't think too hard! Just do it! The competition is NOT fierce!
